He graduated from Chandka Medical College in 1981 till his diploma in Ophthalmology in 1989 from LMC/ Sindh University, Jamshoro and FCPS from JPMC Karachi in 2001.

He attended numerous workshops and conferences, made several presentations in national and international conferences. He has about 29 research papers to his credit and co-author of Chapter 23, Clinical Ophthalmology 3rd Edition by Prof: Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah. He has special interest in Medical Retina, Glaucoma and Phacoemulsification.

He was honored gold medal award by Ophthalmological Society Pakistan in 2007. He is the member Faculty of Ophthalmology CPSP Since 2011, Supervisor and Examiner for MCPS, FCPS, DO and MS.

He is chairman, board of studies, faculty of ophthalmology SMBBMU Larkana, Member Board of Studies Ophthalmology, PUMHS Nawabshah, Controller of Examinations postgraduate studies, SMBBMU Larkana, member of Academic Council SMBBMU Larkana.

Member synopsis scrutinizing committee for MS Ophthalmology LUMHS Jamshoro, Member review board Pakistan Journal of Ophthalmology.

He is currently General Secretary ophthalmological Society Pakistan Larkana Branch. 

He recently participated in workshops organized by Academic Division of HEC (Higher Education commission).

Community Ophthalmic Services 

Attended many free ophthalmic camps and performed about 1000 cataract surgeries.

Worked with Sindh Graduates Association, Overseas Pakistanis Foundation and Society for prevention and Cure of Blindness since 1982 in organizing Medical and Surgical eye camps performed surgical procedures.
